FRUIT SALAD

INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 cups orange juice
  • 1 cup pineapple juice (reserved from one can of pineapple chunks)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 apples, diced
  • 3 small cans mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped (optional)
  • 1 cup mini-marshmallows (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mix orange juice, pineapple juice and sugar together in a saucepan. Cook at low temperature until sugar is dissolved. Set aside to cool.
  2. Place apples in the bottom of a serving dish. Add pineapple chunks, oranges, pecans and marshmallows.
  3. Cover with juice mixture.
  4. Keep refrigerated and add sliced bananas when ready to serve.
